Intelligent Healthcare uses the Security Assertion Markup Language "SAML" standard for Single Sign On (SSO), which is a widely adopted standard for exchanging authentication and authorization between secure servers. When implemented for clients that have secure web portals, the client has complete control over the users and what they can see in the registries. Clients without SSO capabilities have the option of setting up and managing the scope of each user’s access to information using an administrative tool that we provide, or to have Intelligent Healthcare staff set up and manage user access and on their behalf. We use 128-bit SSL encryption to prevent unauthorized viewing of data and interception during transmission. Our network operates behind a secure firewall, including Intelligent Healthcare’s Web servers. All data is backed up routinely and stored securely off-site.
